EC -MIGHTY MYSTIC TAKES OVER THE NEW AGE OF REGGAE (A MUST READ THIS ARTIST IS HOT!)
Mighty Mystic – The Root of a Rising Reggae Icon… Since the Reign of the late great Bob Marley, Reggae music has crossed the seven seas and touched the four corners of the world. It has inspired millions while giving birth to a new and exciting way of modern musical life. It is this refreshing sound that Reggae sensation Mighty Mystic has captured in a most remarkable way. Mighty Mystic was born Kevin Mark Holness in 1980, to Morris and Sonia Holness in the Country side of St Elizabeth, Jamaica. As a boy Mystic showed great interest in his island’s music. You could often hear him singing the popular tunes of those days while working on his father’s farm, says a family member.
It wasn’t until the separation of his parents, and a far move to the states (Boston Ma) that fueled the musical passion in young Mystic. In the late 80s early 90s, break dancing and a still young hip hop was the trendiest thing on the streets of Mass, and Mystic along with his older brother (Stephen) was swept up in to its raging storm. Not soon after did the word spread on Mystic and by the mid 90s Mighty Mystic was already a local star. After several years and several local releases, Mystic began to carefully and methodically craft his career in a way that would be meaningful to his audience and himself. And in 2003 Mighty Mystic teamed up with Reggae Superstars Tanto Metro and Devonte to release Mystic’s first National record titled “Been so long”. “Been so long” received great reviews, was featured on 50+ charts, got thousands of radio spins and got Mighty Mystic the National attention he deserved.
Mystic continued with his hard working mentality and followed up with the release of “Black People Anthem” along with music video in 2004. “Black People Anthem” had a message for the world to hear, and hear they did. The single shot up to 2 on the Jamaican charts made Mighty Mystic an artist worth following. Mystic spent the rest of 2004 recording for VP Records Riddim Driven Series, while traveling on his first national road tour.” Mystic’s achievements that year were crystallized when Jamaica news magazine, The X-News dubbed him “The Simmering Volcano who is about to explode.” One after the other Mystic began recording and releasing, devoting most of his time to keep up with the fast demands of his fans. Mystic’s constant hard work paid off when in 2005 he joined forces with New England’s own Split2nd Entertainment to begin the early stages of Mighty Mystic’s Debut album “Wake up the World”. Since the 05 signing Mystic has released the 2 biggest singles of his career, “Treat her Right” and “Riding on the Clouds”. Both track received high acclaim from the press, radio and the streets. The ground breaking music video for “Riding on the Clouds” was talked about internationally and is still a favorite amongst Reggae lovers alike. His advancements did not go un-noticed and in June 2006 Mystic performed at Boston’s Summer Jam along side the great Mary J Blige, and Sean Paul to name a few. Mystic also released Vol 1 and Vol 2 of the “Wake up the world” Mix tapes which combined feature over 1 hundred tracks. Not to mention the 3 other underground releases, “Better Times” feat Stephen Thunder, “Can’t pull me Down” And “To the Top”.
On December 8, 2006 Mighty Mystic won the prestigious Joe Higgs “Cool Operator” Rising Star Award. Joe Higgs was influential in launching the career of the late great Bob Marley. In addition, Mystic took home the “Best new Artist” Award at the Stars of Boston Award show. Mystic say’s “his rising popularity is due partly to the exciting performance which he and his band "Strings of Thunder" deliver at their concerts”. He added, “Whenever you prove to your listeners what your worth is, it’s then they stop being listeners and become fans”. Mystic and producer Mike Cip are currently in the studio putting the finishing touches on Mighty Mystic Debut album “Wake up the World”. Mystic says this album can be summed up with one word, Universal! “My aim on this album is to draw from all facets and different walks of life to create something timeless”. “Music is life and life is very broad, so I have to design something that can suit all people”

CiCi Santarelli is a model new to the industry. She was born on March 4,1989 and hails from the small town of Steubenville, Ohio. She is the only child of an Italian mother and the first of an African-American father. She was raised by her maternal grandparents due to unfortunate family circumstances. Nevertheless, she has managed to stay focused on her ambitions and reaching her goals. In May 2007, CiCi obtained her Ohio Cosmetology License. Currently, she is attending her first year at Kent State University with a major in Fashion Merchandising with plans to be a premier buyer in the fashion industry. Some of CiCi's best qualities include intelligence, perseverance, and dedication. She would say her worst quality is "being an overachiever". Her most notable feature would be her distinct ethnic look and big brown eyes.
Always being told that she should model, CiCi never actually pursued it until May 2007. She was approached by the Founder and Manager of the Real Muzak Vixens, LLC., Aundrea Jackson, after being introduced by a former Real Muzak Vixen. Her favorite aspect of modeling is "constantly being able to reinvent yourself".
CiCi is currently personally managed by Aundrea Jackson of Real Muzak Vixens, LLC. with no agency affiliation. She has upcoming projects scheduled with Real Muzak, Inc., Slip N Slide Records, Team Omni/Oasys Mobile, Dimepiece Magazine, WWS Mod Magazine, PlayTyme Magazine, Lyricist Magazine, Kashi Kicks, and many more. She has attended many events as a VIP Guest Appearance including the 2007 Ohio Hip Hop Awards, Corey Bapes Birthday Party, Jim Jones Youngstown Concert, the 2007 AIDS Benefit Hip Hop Concert, and the Fabolous "Make Me Better" Cleveland Tour. She has worked with well known Ohio and Pennsylvania photographers including House of Ego and Mobiusco Photography. CiCi has also been featured in Corey Bapes Birthday promotional video "Tear Da Club Up Part 1". Not only was she nominated for Best Model at the 2007 Ohio Hip Hop Awards, she received several features in Cleveland's CP2 Entertainment Magazine including one for being one of the "hottest ladies in the building" at the awards. CiCi was chosen as DimepieceRadio.com's Dimepiece of the Week for the week of 11/12/07 - 11/19/07 and as a MySpace Super Babe on ZipperFish.com. She also was recently chosen as CollegeHumor's Cute College Girl is featured on their website. One of CiCi's sexy new photos has also been displayed in the One Model Place image showcases. Another was also featured on Dimepiece Magazine's Official Young and Sexy Orlando Model Search flyer. Taking steps into the world of the major entertainment industry, CiCi began her first major promotional campaigns as one of Slip N Slide's Official Ohio College Reps and her stint as Kent State University's EA Games Campus Rep. She is also in the running to be a SOAK Girl for SOAK Magazine and a cover girl for Register and WWS Magazines as well as Miss Internet 2008 and Miss MySpace USA. Revealing her personal story, CiCi's interview with Kevin Clark bares it all for HipHopDX.com. She graced the pages of THE SOURCE Magazine April 08 Issue as a Digital Dimepiece, as well as previous features in the Dec 07 premier issue of Maynestream Magazine, and the Dec. 07 cover of H2O Digital Magazine.
CiCi is a new face trying to navigate the complex media environment created by today's open market. "I am aiming to successfully market myself through fan websites, car shows, calendars, personal appearances, advertising and other sorts of media.", exclaims CiCi. When asked about her goals in the modeling industry, CiCi answers with a coy smile, "My goals in modeling are to be successful in the glamour/hip hop/import modeling section of the industry, a cover girl of high end men 's magazines such as Lowrider, XXL, and Maxim, or even to be a centerfold or playmate of the year." Dedication to success matched with her exotic good looks destines CiCi to be one of the most distinguished and sought after models in the industry.

GhostWridah was born and raised in the streets of Florida Dade County("like his premier song says") Hip Hop has played a pivotal role in this newcomers life but don't get it twisted he is NOT new to Hip Hop! Born and raised in South Miami, Florida, GhostWridah was introduced to Hip-Hop and inspired to rap by his older brother. Upon hearing the lyrical mastery of such MCs as Ice Cube, Dr. Dre, Jay Z, Outkast, and Slick Rick, GhostWridah knew he found his calling. He became mesmerized by the on-going rap battles such as MC Shan vs. KRS1 and Ice Cube vs. Common Sense and found himself experimenting in the battle competitions. GhostWridah quickly conquered the Miami battle scene and gained the respect of his peers, including fellow Miami native Pitbull.
On his hustle by day and recording by night, GhostWridah became all too familiar with the "GRIND". After his brother received a twenty-five year prison sentence for being in the wrong place at the wrong time, GhostWridah experienced a life-changing moment-of-clarity and realized that he wanted more from his life. "I realized that my drive and hard work in Hip-Hop was based on much more than a Bentley and a chain. It's based on the amount of people I have depending on me to make something of myself - my brother is one of them." He looked for an opportunity to clear his head and concluded that the best way to do so would be to take a hiatus from his beloved hometown to focus on the bigger picture. In 2007, GhostWridah moved to New York with nothing but a plan, a dream, his inner drive and personal determination. It was a struggle at first, but he finally landed a ghost writing gig that supported his dream and allowed him to launch his own company - Black Lyon Music Group. Shortly thereafter, GhostWridah signed on with NorthStar Management NYC and created a formidable team to make his mark on the music industry. NorthStar and Black Lyon wasted no time and immediately collaborated on "The Ruler is Back", a cutting edge musical production co-starring DJ Green Lantern which incorporates the original soul of R&B and rap into today's real struggles of a man from the ghetto striving to succeed at the highest level. "The Ruler is Back" embarks us into a new era of Hip-Hop which focusing on the real person behind the music as opposed to the self-animated gangsta. It is scheduled for release in June, 2008.
"My music is like a story hence the name -The Ruler is Back - inspired by the great story teller himself Slick Rick" said GhostWridah. "I have to show people where I'm coming from so they understand where I am going" The potent sense of thematic execution comes across perfectly on "50 Ways" featuring Paul Simon and the Green Lantern produced "Pray for me" (which features his wife, recording artist Summer Johnson) is the conscious highlight on the album and serves as a refreshing and uplifting duet about mama's prayers. "God is the reason for each and every rhyme I've ever written" added GhostWridah. "He is the reason I lived to tell my stories." GhostWridah also teams up with Atlanta recording artist Shawty Lo on the hood anthem single "Born and Raised" to deliver a show-stopping performance inspired by his own Miami up bringing.
GhostWridah has been featured on many successful mixtapes from DJ Ideal "Coming from the Bottom" to "Miami's Made in Dade mixtape" to Terror Squad Super Producer StreetRunner's Album "Run The Streets". Most recently, he is being featured on Russell Simmons' Hip-Hop compilation CD paying tribute to the efforts of Senator Barrack Obama on his presidential campaign. This collaborative effort between Simmons and Green Lantern is sure to be Hip-Hop's most political CD since Chuck D's "Fight the Power" and features an all star line up including Kanye West, LL Cool J, Busta Rhymes, Will I Am and many more.
